–Member profile data: IC Number, IC Colour, date of birth, district, nationality, passport details, occupation, and emergency contacts — provided voluntarily to complete your athlete profile.
–Sports interests and association memberships you choose to register.
–Venue booking records, event registrations, and Pocket Pay transaction references.
–Blog posts, messages, and uploaded media submitted through the platform.
–Device information and usage data collected automatically when you visit BruneiSport.

How We Use Your Information

–To create and manage your BruneiSport account and portal access.
–To display your public athlete profile (name, district, sport, verified achievements) to other platform users if you are a Verified Athlete.
–To process venue bookings and event registrations via Pocket Pay.
–To enable sports associations to verify athlete achievement submissions.
–To send platform notifications, booking confirmations, and admin communications.
–To improve platform features, performance, and user experience.

Data Security

–Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies that prevent unauthorised access.
–All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
–Sensitive fields such as IC Numbers, passport details, and guardian information are accessible only to you and verified admin staff.
–Pocket Pay handles all financial transactions — BruneiSport does not store your payment card details.
–We conduct regular security reviews as the platform scales.

Information Sharing

–We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
–Public profile information (name, sport, verified achievements, club/association affiliations) is visible to other BruneiSport users as part of the Athletes Directory.
–Pocket Pay receives booking/event payment details necessary to process your transactions.
–We may disclose information if required by Brunei law or to protect the safety of our users.
–Supabase (our infrastructure provider) processes data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.

Your Rights

–You may update or correct your personal information at any time from your Member Profile page.
–You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@bruneisport.org.
–You may opt out of non-essential platform notifications from your account settings.
–You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
